Justine Kaemmerlen is a multi-disciplinary artist based in San Francisco's Mission District whose primary focus involves environmentally-conscious creative practices. Her work is informed by a strong interest in the conservation of native species, environmental preservation, and human-nature relationships. She draws from lived experiences, scientific inquiry, and locally-significant ecosystems and trends to guide her creative exploration.

Her current mediums of interest include natural dye, fiber arts, and photography. Justine frequently utilizes foraged natural objects and environmentally-friendly materials to explore the spaces created by both man-made and natural forces in the world around her.
